What I learned from watching Self Made on Netflix
In case you were not aware there was a woman named Madame C.J Walker who was the 1st female millionaire. Born in 1867 and passed in 1919. She created hair care products for woman and had her own sales staff (along the lines like Avon of today). She even built her own manufacturing plant. This woman is amazing and inspiring.
Watching this made me think of a few things.. One of them was “no excuses”. This woman had everything going against her in a time in which women were not expected to be anything besides a wife and a mother. Movies like this make me think “what more can I be doing”?. If you are not already doing something to create the business and life you always dreamed of “Why not”?
